• How do I get my race number & packet?   Race numbers, timing chips & t-shirts are issued race morning at Waimea Bay. Race numbers are non-transferable with out  prior permission. No one else may wear the chip assigned to you. Swimmers found on the course without their issued race numbers will be removed. Swimmers caught wearing another persons race number will result in both parties being banned from future North Shore Swim & Waikiki Swim Club events. NO BANDITS!

  • I never got an email confirmation?  Sorry, we do not email confirmation but you can go to www.timelinehawaii.com one week before the event to make sure you are registered.

  • Where do we park?  Limited parking is available at Waimea Bay, St Peter & Paul Church (small donation) & for a fee at Waimea Valley

  • Where is Waimea Bay? Waimea Bay is on the North Shore of Oahu about 7 miles east of the town of Haleiwa on Kamehameha Hwy. Haleiwa is approximately 36 miles from Waikiki.

  • How do we get to the start? We shuttle swimmers via bus to both Sunset Beach & to Ehukai Beach Park for the relays. The shuttle has limited seating!

  • Is there refunds available?  Sorry, no refunds

  • Aid Stations?  There is no aid station on this course, be prepared…

  • Race morning “things to know” Upon arrival at Waimea Bay check in at the administration tent near the parking lot & pick up your timing chip, t-shirt & get your body make & cap. You must wear a cap in the Aqua Sphere 5K Swim, but you can bring your own if you have a favorite, bright one if possible!

  • Shuttle bus will start leaving at 6:45am & run until 7:40am

  • Relay Swimmer info? Relay or tag will be at Ehukai Beach Park across from Sunset Beach Elementary School.

  • Fin Division info? The fin division is for one person only and starts at Sunset Beach 15 minutes after the non-finers!

  • Swim Aids? No fins (except in fin division) hand paddles or wetsuits. Swim buoys are OK & encouraged. No personal escorts!
